So, last night we sisters made dinner for our parents again. . .
Um. . . It actually went by much faster without too much complaining.
I quit asking Glory for directions and just looked at the recipe myself π
Anyway, we made vegetable pasta primavera and it tasted SOOO good!
I’m telling you, eating Vegan isn’t so bad!
At first I was totally against it because I love my junk food, pizza, and soda. . . But now, it’s as if I CRAVE the taste of vegetables!
GUYS! A year ago I wouldn’t be caught dead eating vegetables, and now that’s all I think about!
Don’t get me wrong, I do like to eat pizza now and then, and I had my first Dr. Pepper in months just last week, but it’s not a daily thing anymore.
And, to be honest, I feel awful after I eat junk food anyway.
But back to the Dr. Pepper I had. . . So, I poured it into one of those paper coffee cups at church and as I was passing this guy in the hall (he runs a coffee business, and knows that I DESPISE coffee) and he glanced at me with one of those shocked gazes, asking, “Is that coffee?” π€£
I just smiled and walked away. π
And, now he’ll never know that I was just drinking my soda without anyone noticing. . . π
Anyway, back to our whole Vegan lifestyle.
So, when I first moved to Oregon, I noticed that everyone eats A LOT. Like even the women who are SUPER thin.
And they eat SUPER healthy.
So, now I know why they eat so much!
It’s because they’re STARVING, because vegetables don’t fill you up!
Literally, I eat like three portions of vegetables because I wasn’t full after the one portion. . .
Oh, but it was SOOO delicious!
I was a straight up junkie, turning my nose up at vegetables, and now my body craves our Vegan lifestyle!
How the tables have turned. . .
Stay tuned for my next post. . .
Love,
Grace π
